What is SculpSure™?
SculpSure™ is a noninvasive procedure approved by the FDA for the reduction of fat in the abdomen, thighs, and love handle areas. SculpSure™ uses a laser treatment to contour the body by safely melting away unwanted fat. The procedure takes about 25 minutes as the controlled heating is applied. Patients report a pain-free warming sensation during theSculpSure™ treatments. There is no pain or discomfort and you can return to work and other activities right after your SculpSure™ session.
How Does SculpSure™ Work?
During the SculpSure™ treatment, the laser light will heat up the underlying fat and initiate a process that leads to the loss of fat cells. The SculpSure™ treatment will decrease the number of fat cells, and these fat cells will never return. As another benefit to the SculpSure™ treatment, the heating energy of the SculpSure™ laser also boosts the production of collagen and elastin, the two necessary building blocks for youthful, healthy skin. This new collagen and elastin production will help the treated area to appear firmer and younger.
How many SculpSure™ treatments will I need to get results?
SculpSure™ treatments result in a noticeable fat reduction in the treated areas after one session. Studies show that theSculpSure™ treatment can remove up to 20-25 percent of fat in the areas that are treated. In addition to its FDA approval for safety and effectiveness, it also requires only one treatment, where other treatments, such as the LiLa Strawberry Laser, require multiple treatments. Sometimes patients will choose to undergo a second procedure in order to remove additional fat. SculpSure™ is also the first FDA-approved laser treatment that provides permanent results.
